Heavy Item Removalists

Most removalist websites say they handle heavy items. Far fewer have stood at the bottom of a staircase, working out how to turn a 180kg safe around a tight corner without punching a hole in the wall.

We have. Many times.

A heavy move isn't the same as a normal move. A couch is heavy, but it bends. Two people can wrestle it through a door. A marble table doesn't bend. A loaded gym rack doesn't bend. These items need real planning, not just extra hands.

Before we ask about your moving date, we ask about the item. How heavy is it? What are the dimensions? What floor is it on? Are there stairs, tight corners, or no lift? Once we know this, we send a crew with the right gear for the job.

What Counts as a "Heavy Item"?

Not sure if your item qualifies? Here's what we usually move:

Each of these fails in a different way if handled wrong. Marble cracks. Safes crush toes. Gym equipment shifts weight without warning. We plan for the specific item, not a generic "heavy stuff" checklist.

How We Price a Heavy Item Move

Two things set the price: the item, and the access.

We ask about both before quoting, so the price doesn't change on the day.

Tell us if there are stairs, narrow doorways, no parking near the door, or a lift that needs booking. This takes five minutes. It's the biggest factor in whether your move goes smoothly.

A crew is only as good as their equipment. For heavy items, we bring:
