That's what decides the price. A one-bedroom unit with light contents is a different job to a four-bedroom family home with two decades of accumulated stuff. We ask upfront so the number we give you doesn't change once the boxes start piling up.

You get one fixed price for the packing, the unpacking, or both not a per-hour rate that adds up faster than you'd like.

Proper packing materials sturdy boxes in the right sizes, not whatever's left over from the supermarket. Bubble wrap, packing paper, and specialty cartons for fragile or awkward items like TVs, mirrors, and artwork.
