Trusted Removalists in Aire Valley, VIC

Expert Movers has more than 10 years of moving experience. We’ve done over 5,000 moves, and our customers give us a 4.9★ rating. If you need movers Aire Valley owners can trust, you need a team that knows forest roads and wet weather. Here’s how we plan your move.

A Quiet Spot in the Otways

Aire Valley is in the Shire of Colac Otway, postcode 3237. It sits deep in the Otway Ranges, and most of it is national park. It’s home to a famous redwood forest, and the Aire River flows through it to Hopetoun Falls.

Very few people live here. In fact, the 2021 census counted no full-time residents. Most of our moves are for homes close by, in Beech Forest, Weeaproinah, Ferguson and Hordern Vale. Apollo Bay is the nearest town for shops.

Every Bush Move Needs a Good Plan

A move in the forest is different from a move in town. The road, the distance and the weather all affect how long it takes. So we ask about these things before we give you a price.

Your fixed written quote shows the full price before you book. Tell us your moving date and both addresses. We’ll plan the day so we finish before dark.

Narrow Roads and Bush Driveways

Roads here are narrow and winding. Some parts are gravel or dirt, and trees hang low over the road. A big truck needs room to turn and to pass under branches.

So we ask a few simple questions. Is your driveway dirt or sealed? Is it steep? Where can a truck turn around? If a big truck won’t fit, we’ll use a smaller one. A few photos help us choose quickly.

Rain, Mist and Muddy Tracks

This is one of the wettest parts of Victoria. Rain and mud are common all year. Wet driveways can be slippery, and storms can bring down branches. If heavy rain is on the way, we’ll call you a few days before to pick a backup date.

Who We Help Move

Some people are moving into a holiday house or bush home. Others are moving out to Colac, Geelong or Melbourne. If your new home isn’t ready yet, we can store your things. We can also pack and unpack for you.

Common Moving Problems in Aire Valley (and How We Fix Them)

Most moving-day delays come from small details. Here’s what to watch for.

The House Is Hard to Find

Many bush homes don’t have a clear house number. Phone signal can also drop out. Send us a map pin and a nearby landmark, and our crew will find you easily.

The Truck Is Too Big for the Road

Sharp bends and low branches can block a large truck. Send us photos of your road and driveway, and we’ll bring the right size truck.

Rain Turns the Driveway to Mud

A muddy driveway isn’t safe for a heavy truck. Choose a backup date, and we’ll check the weather with you before moving day.

Visitor Traffic on Busy Days

The redwoods and Hopetoun Falls bring lots of visitors. On weekends and holidays, parked cars can block the road. Tell us your preferred time, and we’ll plan around the busy hours.

Holiday House Items Get Forgotten

Spare beds, outdoor chairs and shed items add up fast. List everything, so we bring the right truck and book enough time.
